Not only is Camping de Bosrand located in the most beautiful spot of the Veluwe, but there are also a few nice villages and towns for shopping or for a nice cup of coffee on a cozy terrace.

Beekbergen, 4 km from the campsite
A cozy village with a number of nice shops and terraces. The Veluwse Avondmarkt, held every Thursday evening in July and August from 6:00 pm to 9:15 pm, is a folkloric event that is well known throughout the Netherlands. Various old crafts are demonstrated such as wool spinning, clog making, chair mats, beehive braiding, poor man's art, 'washing day', scythe hair and rope making. You can also taste various regional dishes.

Above the modern facades you often see beautiful characteristic buildings. Wandering through the bustling city center, you can discover why.

In addition to large department stores and retail chains, Apeldoorn offers many nice boutiques. Be surprised by the diversity of shops: you always succeed in Apeldoorn!

Arnhem, 22 km from the campsite
Indulge yourself in the fashion, design and shopping city of Arnhem! Stroll from the Koningstraat, through the cozy 7straatjes and be surprised by the extensive, unusual offer. Or settle down in a cozy coffee shop or pleasant wine bar.

On the border of the historic city center is the architectural Musiskwartier with a wide range of special shops. Everything revolves around fashion, design and art in Klarendalse Modekwartier. Both up-and-coming talent and established names have their atelier or studio here, which you can often walk into.

Bronkhorst, 20 km from the campsite
The smallest town in the Netherlands, but in terms of size and appearance, this town in Gelderland with only a handful of houses is really a village. The center is the church. Around the church are the old-fashioned houses and former city farms, built of brick with decorated facades. No one is the same and most of them are very photogenic.

It is located in the floodplains of the IJssel and you can take a ferry to Brummen. Some of the houses now have restaurants where you can enjoy a tasty lunch with an emphasis on regional products or a beer. Especially on a summer day, the terraces here are full.

A very cozy Hanseatic city. The city center of Deventer is divided into eight quarters, each with its own charm, range of shops and sights. You really get to know Deventer in these districts.

Stroll through the picturesque city center and stroll through the narrow streets. The city offers a surprisingly wide range of quirky and unique shops and galleries, from hip & trendy to nostalgic. Along the way you will also discover surprising places for the necessary refreshments while shopping.

Rich in history and many attractions. Such as the sheepfold, Kasteel ter Horst, paper factory De Middelste Molen and the Ereveld. Loenen also has its own steam train station.

There are various studios and sculpture gardens to view. An art route is organized once a year.

Also visit the largest waterfall in the Netherlands, De Loenense waterfall.

Zutphen, 18,5 km from the campsite
As soon as you enter the city gates of Zutphen, you step into another world. Countless historic buildings, green courtyards in the middle of the center, colorful alleys, unique boutiques and specialty shops and plenty of art and culture.

In the atmospheric Hanseatic city you will find everything for a complete day out. Visit the Zutphen Museums or the Walburgis Church, browse the shopping streets and enjoy a well-deserved snack and drink on one of the cozy terraces.
